Sociological Projects

  The purpose of this collaboration is to get to know each other and understand better our cultures.  As a first step, please answer the following questions in your own language or English: 1. Describe a typical day. 2. What do you think are the most serious problems in your society? 3. Is there an increase in individualism in your society or is it united? 4. Do you know details about the lives of your fellow students? how many? 5. What are the most common stereotypes that you see on television, social media, or other media, or that you hear from others? 6. Are young people interested in politics? 7. Is fast food popular? 8. What social change is the most important for you? 9. What are your favorite movies, music and artists? 10. How many hours per week do you dedicate to social networks? 11. Are you interested in starting a family in the future, with a stable partner, and having children? If not, what family arrangement do you see yourself living in in the future? ​

  El objetivo de esta colaboración es conocernos y comprender mejor nuestras culturas. Como primer paso, responda las siguientes preguntas en su propio idioma o inglés: 1. Describe un día típico. 2. ¿Cuáles crees que son los problemas más graves de tu sociedad? 3. ¿Hay un aumento del individualismo en tu sociedad o está unida? 4. ¿Conocen detalles sobre la vida de sus compañeros de estudios? ¿de cuántos? 5.  ¿Cuáles son los estereotipos más comunes que ven en la televisión, redes sociales, u otros medios, o que escuchan de otros? 6. ¿Están los jóvenes interesados en la política? 7. ¿Es popular la comida rápida? 8. ¿Cuál cambio social es el más importante para ustedes? 9. ¿Cuáles son tus películas, música y artistas favoritos? 10. ¿Cuántas horas por semana dedicas a las redes sociales? 11. ¿Tienes interés en formar una familia en el futuro, con una pareja estable, y tener hijos? Si no, ¿en qué arreglo familiar te ves viviendo en el futuro?
